Grant Description
Grants to Arkansas nonprofit organizations and public schools to support investment education programs for students in grades 5-12. Funding is intended for the purchase of appropriate equipment, software materials, or educational resources. Award decisions will be based on program merit, the number of students educated, and other school resources.

The grants are available to programs in Arkansas for the purpose of providing securities and investment education to teachers and students about the securities industry, the stock markets, and investment decision-making. Grant proposals will be considered for only these areas.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
Eligible applicants are public schools and non-profit groups that provide investment education to Arkansas students in grades five through twelve.

Ineligible
Certain items will not be funded, such as cameras, meals, field trips, gift cards, and smart boards.

Pre-Application Information
The proposal’s due date is September 30, 2023.

Estimated Size of Grant
The suggested grant request range is between $2,500 and $5,000, although grant proposals for more or less than the suggested range will be considered.

Term of Contract
Projects must be completed by March 29, 2024.
