Awards of $2,500 to USA individual state and federal agency wildlife law enforcement officers for outstanding achievements in their field. The award is intended to honor individuals for accomplishments that help or promote the law enforcement objectives and mission of federal and state fish and wildlife agencies. The award will recognize officers who put their life on the line for wildlife during their careers.

NFWF’s award seeks to recognize extraordinary individuals who have made an outstanding lifetime contribution to wildlife law enforcement, wildlife forensics, or investigative techniques. The Guy Bradley Award will be presented to one state agency and one federal agency officer whose dedication and public service to protecting the nation's natural resources demonstrates outstanding leadership, excellence in implementation, knowledge, and actions that have advanced the cause of wildlife conservation.

Number of Grants:

Two: The award is presented to one state and one federal recipient each year.

Estimated Size of Grant:

One state and one federal recipient will receive a check for $2,500 and a commemorative plaque in recognition of their efforts. In the event that a recipient cannot accept a cash award, as is the case for federal employees, a donation of $2,500 will be made in the recipient's name to the wildlife project(s) of his or her choice.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

State and federal agency wildlife officers are eligible to be nominated for this award.
