Grants of $2,000 to USA, Canada, and International young Jewish college graduates to attend a fellowship and learn about the Israeli government. The fellowship program combines internships in government ministries and related organizations with Hebrew-language studies, trips around the country, and educational seminars. The 10-month program is based in Jerusalem.

The Israel Government Fellows program of the Menachem Begin Heritage Center is a unique partnership between the Begin Center and the Israeli government in which participants intern in various government offices in conjunction with an educational program focusing on social, economic, and political issues facing Israel. The program is a prestigious initiative, highly regarded by the institutions of government that work with the program and that receive the fellows as interns. Participants on the program work with senior government officials and are exposed to high-profile figures in Israeli political and cultural life.

IGF is the only existing program of its kind for non-Israelis and is available for Jews ages 22-30 with at least a Bachelor’s degree. Individuals seeking a unique opportunity to experience 10 months of professional and personal development in Israel, are invited to reach out and to apply.

This program provides participants with invaluable work experience and leadership training, which will be transferrable to future employment and will be impressive additions to any CV. It is a unique opportunity for aspiring Jewish leaders to acquire new skills while contributing to Israeli politics and society, to learn about Israeli history and culture, and to strengthen their connection to the Jewish state.
