Grants to Arkansas Schools and Clubs to Promote the Development of Agricultural Gardens

Grants of up to $250 and grants of up to $500 to Arkansas schools and clubs to promote the development of agricultural gardens. Funding is intended for new and ongoing projects that demonstrate the importance of agriculture in the day-to-day environment. The grant program seeks to promote the connection between agriculture, food, fiber, conservation, wildlife, and the urban environment. Gardens must contain crops such as corn, wheat, rice, soybeans, etc., and/or vegetables and fruits. Livestock projects are also acceptable, including bees.
