Grants to USA and territories nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and tribes in multiple states for projects to reduce the risk of wildfires. Applicants are advised that required registrations may take several weeks to complete. Eligible projects must be carried out within the footprint of the Southern States: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia, and for Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Grants and in-kind support to USA nonprofit organizations, agencies, and IHEs to perpetuate the legacy of twentieth-century Black architects. Eligible uses of funding include planning, capital improvements, and indirect costs. Grantees will also receive technical assistance in promotion and conservation management. The goal of the program is to empower and equip preservationists and stewards with funding and technical support to preserve the material heritage, innovation, and legacy of modern architectural sites designed by Black architects.

Grants to Arkansas local education agencies for programs to promote STEM education, particularly for low-income and underserved students. Applicants are required to attend a tour of a school that has already implemented the curriculum prior to applying. Funding is intended to increase student interest and engagement in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by offering middle school students access to high-quality curricula that support hands-on, real-world learning.

Opportunity for USA, Canada, and International researchers to participate in a research working group for studies related to the environment. The purpose of the program is to fund and support groups of investigators working to develop and meet national conservation goals of the United States. These goals include pollution reduction, restoration of degraded ecosystems, elimination of invasive species, and strengthening nature's resilience. Eligible researchers and practitioners may be operating independently or in affiliation with an academic, governmental agency, multilateral, or nonprofit institution. Funds may be used to convene working groups, to support salaries of postdoctoral fellows or research/technical assistants committed to specific projects, or to pay for contracted services to support the work.

Grants and in-kind support to USA, Canada, and International independent researchers and researchers affiliated with IHEs, agencies, or nonprofit organizations for transdisciplinary research and collaboration to address environmental issues in the Gulf of Mexico. Research groups will meet in Santa Barbara, California and will conduct studies exploring climate change, fisheries, and ecological impact of management actions. In addition to funding to support travel, lodging, and per diem expenses, participating teams will benefit from facilities, training expertise, and cyberinfrastructure and logistical support.

Grants of up to $5,000 and grants of up to $25,000 to USA educational, scientific, and charitable organizations in multiple states for capital expenses and projects serving the communities in which the funding source has a business presence. For this year, applications should address either improving gifted education or using generative artificial intelligence to improve instruction in postsecondary education.

Opportunity for USA agricultural producers in 30 states of the Upper Midwest, Lower Midwest, MidAtlantic/Central Appalachia, Northeast, Southeast, and Hawaii regions to participate in an incentive program to incorporate agroforestry practices. Applicant organizations should advance a mission and programs dedicated to human rights, girls' and women’s empowerment, or LGBTQ+ causes.

Grants to Arkansas nonprofit organizations for projects benefiting communities within the Funding Source’s service area. Previous recipients include a fire department, a children's advocacy group, an organization for low-cost automobile repairs, and an animal welfare society. Award of $500 to a USA or Canada high school astronomy teacher or educator to recognize exceptional contributions to astronomy education. Candidates for this award demonstrate outstanding teaching and commitment to planetarium- or classroom-based education, including the training of other educators.

Grants of up to $1,000 to USA educational institutions and nonprofit organizations for foreign language educational materials. Applicants must contact the funding source prior to submitting an application. Grant funds may be used for the purchase of teaching materials and cultural items for Japanese-language courses.

Grant of $500 to a USA, Canada, or International teacher, counselor, or educator who instructs high school students to cover the costs associated with attending an educational conference. Applicants must register as an educator prior to applying. Funding may be used to support registration, accommodations, and travel expenses.

Grants of $2,500 to USA, Canada, and International high school teachers and counselors for financial assistance in attending professional development courses. Applicants are required to complete registrations prior to applying. Funding is intended to assist with tuition expenses and related costs associated with university courses taking place in Fall 2024, Spring 2025, or Summer 2025.

Grants of $500 to USA and territories community organizations, libraries, and museums serving families and children for storytelling programs. Funding is intended for programs that explore and celebrate Asian/Pacific American and American Indian and Alaska Native communities through oral traditions, books, and art to provide an enriching, interactive experience.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International organizations, filmmakers, and production companies for the creation of Holocaust-related films. Films should have an educational value and broad distribution potential. Funding may be requested for only one of the following three project phases: a) Development, b) Production, or c) Post-Production.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit organizations and institutions for educational activities related to the Holocaust. Funding is intended for projects regarding the persecution of Jews by the Nazis. Eligible projects align with one of the following areas of interest: documentation, education, research, new media, and film.

Grants of up to $15,000 to USA, Canada, and International institutions and individuals for research and conservation projects related to wild cat species. Priority will be given to projects with a strong emphasis on conservation. Eligible proposals are those related to small cats species, namely all species of the family Felidae excluding the genera Panthera, Acinonyx, and the puma (Puma concolor).

Grants of $25,000 to USA MD and PhD investigators at accredited academic institutions or nonprofit medical research institutions for short-term, small research projects related to women's medical issues. Funding is intended to support studies that demonstrate promise for enhancing medical care in leading women’s health concerns, including cardiovascular disease, female cancers, the role of hormones in disease and stage-of-life health issues, and diseases and health concerns disproportionately affecting women.

Fellowships of $5,000 to USA qualifying early-stage scientists and physicians to conduct research related to women's health. Eligible research topics include, but are not limited to, female cancers, cardiovascular disease, and stage-of-life health concerns. Requests will be accepted from applicants who are currently pursuing an MD or PhD or are engaged in fellowship, postdoctoral, or similar specialty training at a US-based institution.

Grants to USA Tribal governments and Tribal nonprofits, and grants to California nonprofits, IHEs, schools, and school districts in eligible counties to improve the quality of life and address community needs. Program areas include health, education, basic needs, and culture and community development. San Manuel’s charitable giving program supports organizations that provide services in San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. Applications are also accepted from Tribal Governments and Tribal nonprofit organizations throughout the United States.

Grants of $50,000 to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit organizations for programs that improve access to STEM career opportunities and education for women and girls of color. Funding is intended to support nonprofits focusing on career development, capacity building, increase in access, and other activities that increase the representation of women in STEM education, especially in the technology sector. F5 is committed to helping build the pipeline of tomorrow’s female changemakers and future leaders through science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) Education Grants.

Grants of up to $3,000 to Arkansas nonprofit organizations for projects and professional development activities that benefit students and teachers. Funding is intended for programs and activities with a strong humanities element, including classroom projects and conferences, workshops, seminars, or webinars for educators.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International undergraduate and graduate science and engineering students to promote scientific achievements and excellence in research. Funding is intended to support hands-on learning and to encourage students and mentors to forge close working relationships.

Grants of $500 to USA, Canada, and International qualifying high school educators to provide enhanced opportunities for student organizations. Funding is intended to assist club sponsors and advisors of public and private high schools in supporting the student clubs they oversee. Requests will be accepted from club sponsors and advisors who are registered as educators with the funding source organization.

Opportunity for USA, Canada, and International startups to participate in an accelerator program to advance their company. Participants will have access to weekly consultations, an investor boot camp, a virtual demo day, networking opportunities, and the use of the funding source's startup program. The purpose of the program is to help entrepreneurs find the funding, tools, and community to scale their startups.

Fellowships to USA, Canada, and Greece graduate students to conduct research and fieldwork at an institution in Greece. The purpose of the program is to support the work of overseas students conducting studies in ancient Greek law or Greek students conducting work on local excavations. Fellowships will take place at the American School for Classical Studies at Athens or at excavations affiliated with the institution.

In-kind grants of career exploration software to USA schools, IHEs, community groups, agencies, and other educational organizations serving PreK-12 students. Participants will receive software subscriptions and related equipment that exposes students to job shadowing and field trip content.

Scholarships of $5,000 and scholarships of $10,000 to USA individuals living with epilepsy and family members or caregivers of individuals with epilepsy to pursue higher education. Funding is paid directly to the educational institution and may be used for books, tuition, and other school fees.

Fellowships to USA mathematicians from minority populations to support individual and collaborative research. Funding is intended for travel expenses, supplies, memberships, books, and any other expenses that will advance the research projects. Applicants must be mid-career mathematicians.

Grants of up to $1,000 to USA nonprofit organizations to fund small community projects. Applicants located outside of the USA must be able to receive the funds through a US-based nonprofit. Funding is intended for special projects that will uplift the local community.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International individuals for political research at the funding source's facility in Michigan. Funding is intended to offset the cost of travel within North America and living expenses while conducting research. Eligible research addresses topics related to US foreign policy, national and domestic politics, and federal policies.

Fellowships with a $5,000 stipend to USA, Canada, or international PhD or graduate students for research on aspects of Greek history. Funding is intended for the study of the Athenian Agora, and the stipend is structured to cover lodging, visas, board, travel, and other incidental costs. Fields of study may include but are not limited to, all aspects of the history and material culture of the site.

Grants of up to $2,000 to USA high-school student groups for environmental projects. Funding is intended to support students as they plan, design, and implement a sustainability project involving the community. Students must learn specific material prior to developing their projects. Teachers who guide student groups are also eligible to receive a $1,000 stipend. The goal of the program is to empower students with essential environmental knowledge, practical skills, and a sense of community responsibility, fostering a lifelong commitment to sustainability.

Fellowships of $7,000 to USA, Canada, and International doctoral students for research related to political economy. Fellows will participate in colloquia related to developing techniques and strategies to explore themes and questions related to political economy. Eligible expenses include travel, accommodation, and meals.

Fellowships with stipends of $10,000 to USA, Canada, and International doctoral students enrolled at universities to pursue studies related to political economy. In addition to the stipend, the program will arrange lodging, airfare, and meals for fellows. Graduate students from any discipline may participate.

Fellowships to USA, Canada, and International PhD students to participate in online symposiums related to political economy. The purpose of the program is to support students who have a teaching or research interest in the subject. In addition to the stipend, fellows will have travel, accommodation, and meals covered by the program.

Opportunity for USA, Canada, and International doctoral students from any discipline to participate in a fellowship to explore themes related to political economy, including morality, markets, sociality, and culture. In addition to the $7,000 stipend, the fellowship includes travel and lodging to attend colloquia hosted by the Mercatus Center.

Funding is intended for students of history, American studies, museum studies, and the arts to advance research projects related to the art and architecture of the US Capitol.

Grants of up to $50,000 to USA nonprofit organizations for a variety of community services. Funding is intended for musical education for talented children and youth, for programs to preserve Yiddish culture, and to assist new immigrants to the USA through housing, job training, language, and more.

Award to a USA judge to recognize their contributions to civic education in their local community and their state at large. Eligible civic education activities can include courtroom tours, the creation of classroom curriculum, assisting with mock trials, visiting classrooms, and more.

Grants of $20,000 to USA early-career artists in the visual, literary, and musical arts to support the creation of new projects. Funding is intended to cover the costs of materials, production, research, and anything else that goes into creating new works of art in the relevant fields.

Grants of up to $50,000 to USA and Colombia institutions of higher education for collaborations on climate change solutions. Applicants are required to join the funding source's network prior to applying for a grant. Funding is intended to promote partnerships between institutions that will promote collaborative research projects and training and exchange programs related to climate change.

Grants of $250 and grants of $500 to USA and Canada young people for youth-led volunteer projects that address community needs. Funding is intended to support projects carried out by children and youth between the ages of 5 and 25 that provide opportunities for young volunteers from different social backgrounds to create meaningful connections with their peers, caring adults, and community partners, while developing social awareness and relationship skills. Projects must take place during Global Youth Service Day or Youth Service Month in the spring of 2025. $250 grantees will be required to engage at least 25 other youth as volunteers while $500 grantees have a 50-youth volunteer minimum requirement.

Fellowships to USA bioscientists who recently earned their undergraduate degrees for tropical biodiversity research. The program is intended to give young scientists work and research experience by embedding them with existing research teams for a year. Fellows will be sent to join research teams in Panama.

Grants of up to $25,000 to USA and Puerto Rico nonprofit organizations, rescue groups, shelters, and sanctuaries for programs that enhance the lives of elderly canines. Funds may be used to develop programs that promote foster care, adoption, hospice, medical care, and training. The Grey Muzzle Organization provides funding for senior dog programs nationwide

Funding is intended for artists whose practices include community engagement, experience as adjunct faculty, workshop facilitation/instruction, visiting artists, museum education, instructors, and/ or lecturers who are mid-career.

Fellowships of $5,000 to USA BIPOC writers to support work addressing music. Applicants who write critically about works from their political and cultural perspective are encouraged to apply. Funds are unrestricted and may be used for any purpose. In addition to the cash award, the fellows have the opportunity to write about an exhibition for the Preserving Democracy blog and deliver a talk about their work at the Democracy Center.

Funding is intended for full-time faculty to engage in research in areas including basic science and clinical interventions. Priority will be given to novel proposals with a viable study hypothesis leading to impactful results that are fundable at the NIH level.

A written test will be administered after the courses finish, and the top scorers after the test will win an all-expenses-paid trip to a distillery in Jamaica.
